7 MUST HAVE MAKEUP TOOLS FOR BEGINNERS

7 MUST HAVE MAKEUP TOOLS FOR BEGINNERS

Let’s face it - it can get very confusing & overwhelming to choose what makeup tools are the must haves, especially when you are new to makeup. Not to mention a variety of tools available on the current market.

If you are not a makeup pro yet & you don’t really know where to start- you are in a right place.

What you need to think is different parts of the face that the tool can be used with. Can that makeup tool blend eyeshadow and foundation? Can it be used for more than one purpose? Can it be used for different textures like creams, liquids, powders?

Ok, let’s break this down…

1. EYEBROW & LASH SPOOLIE

Let’s start with the brows.

Why? Brows frames the face, so its import that the brow shape is manicured and maintained to suit individual face shape.

Behind every great brow is a great brush, and the B.U. BEAUTY brand Eyebrow & Lash Spoolie is the ultimate one.

The spoolie enables you to groom the brows and blend the product for a natural finish. It’s official, your brow game just peaked.

The great thing about this makeup tool is that it can be used for multipurpose - to brush/ set in place the brows as well as the lashes.

Did You know that you should brush you lashes prior applying mascara? Why? Well, if you are applying your makeup in the morning, as majority people do, there’s a big chance that your lashes are brushed to one side simply from sleeping.

How to use:
  • Comb your brows with spoolie.
  • Apply the desired brow product.
  • Use the spoolie to blend the product.
  • Simply brush your lashes, moving the spoolie up, just like you would do when applying mascara.

2. EYESHADOW BLENDING BRUSH

Ok, now that the brows are done lets move on to the eyes.

As a staple and must have makeup tool we recommend the B.U. BEAUTY brand the Universal Base Shadow brush.

It offers smooth transitions, next-level blending and ultra-soft bristles, this oval-shaped brush enables you to achieve pro MUA-worthy results.

The name of this brush itself suggests what it’s universal and can be used for more than just blending the base colour on. The brush is tapered to help diffuse the eyeshadow along the creases. It can also be used to contour nose, blend the concealer under the eyes, set the setting powder around the nose & much more.

How to use:
    • Using circular motions, smoothly blend eyeshadow all over the lid.
    • Create depth by applying a darker shade to the crease and blending in a windshield-wiper motion.

    3. PRECISE EYESHADOW BRUSH

You are probably thinking - I’m new to makeup, why would I need a precision brush? Well, precision doesn’t means it’s extra small brush. What it actually means is that the bruhs bristles are more densely packed than the blending brush, allowing you to place the product in the precise way.

We recommend the B.U. BEAUTY Precise Shadow Brush. The bristles of this brush are short and dense for maximum colour pick up and even distribution. Perfect for shimmers and glitters. Can be also use d to apply lipstick.

    How to use:
    • Apply the desired eyeshadow shade/ glitter/ pigment on the eyelid in swipe motion.

    4. THE EYELASH CURLER

A necessity for every makeup kit. It Creates length and volume without tens of coats of mascara. It’s super easy to use and it curls even the shortest, straight lashes.

It’s a golden rule in a beauty world to set the foundation in place for it to last and not to crease during the time of wear.

    7. THE CONTOUR BRUSH

Why do you need a contour brush we hear you ask? Well, it’s simply to give some dimension to your face so it doesn’t look as flat as pancake after applying the foundation. It is important to contour to sculpt and define the face.

We recommend the B.U. BEAUTY brand Contour Brush.
